Fresh tea – one side of the leaf
Each tea leaf is a single, double-sided token. One side shows fresh tea. The tokens lie flat in the tea bowls on the player boards and can be neatly stacked. This way, your harvest grows visibly while you can always see how much fresh tea is currently available in your plantations.
Fermented tea – just flip the token
As the tea matures, the same token is simply flipped over. The reverse side shows fermented tea, making the aging process immediately clear. No swapping, no resorting – one quick motion is all it takes. In this state as well, the tokens remain flat, stackable, and perfectly integrated into the tea bowls.
Our Upgrades for Tea Garden®
These double-sided tea leaf tokens directly represent the game’s core mechanism: fresh tea loses value over time, while fermented tea gains in quality. Instead of using different markers, you simply change the side of the same token.
Thanks to their flat, stackable design, even larger quantities fit comfortably into a single bowl. You can count the leaves from the side at a glance and keep full control of your tea production throughout all five rounds along the Yangtze River.
