Months, zodiac signs, and calendar sections can be placed onto the game board much faster and more cleanly. Thanks to the practical finger cutouts, all components can be removed comfortably without needing to turn trays upside down. Designed to match the game’s visual style and of course featuring dedicated space for the player figures directly at the calendar.
Astronomical Overlay
The overlay for the astronomical wheel ensures that the moon marker can be moved safely and precisely from space to space without losing its position. Less slipping, smoother handling, and a much more satisfying gameplay experience directly at the Orloj.
Player Trays & Apostle System
The special player trays keep all essential components organized and ready to play right away. The highlight is the apostle holder: simply flip up the cardboard standees, remove them, and place them directly onto the game board. The system is completed with separate boxes for gears and additional game components.
Solo & Setup System
Dedicated setup boxes and a pre-organized solo layout help bring Orloj to the table much faster. Many components are stored ready to play and can be used immediately without lengthy sorting beforehand.

The insert for Orloj – The Prague Astronomical Clock was designed to make setting up Orloj significantly faster, cleaner, and more atmospheric. At the heart of the system is the unique magic box, which stores player components, goods, setup materials, and the calendar in one secure solution. Even during vertical storage, everything stays safely in place while setup time is drastically reduced. The calendar system keeps months, zodiac signs, and calendar sections neatly organized and especially easy to remove thanks to practical finger cutouts. A dedicated overlay for the astronomical clock stabilizes the moon marker while moving it across the astronomical wheel, creating a smoother and more precise gameplay experience. Atmospheric player trays with a special apostle holder, separate boxes for gears, and prepared solo and setup boxes ensure that Orloj gets to the table faster and feels comfortably organized right from the very first turn.

Insert consists of:
The special calendar system for Orloj keeps months, zodiac signs, and calendar sections clearly organized and ready to play right away. Every component has its own fixed and secured position to prevent pieces from shifting during storage. Even the variable calendar sections of the outer ring of the Orloj are stored in dedicated compartments. Thanks to practical finger cutouts, all components can be removed individually and comfortably.
The dedicated overlay for the astronomical wheel of Orloj – The Prague Astronomical Clock further improves the gameplay experience around the Orloj. The moon marker stays securely in position and can be moved carefully from space to space without slipping or accidentally shifting other elements.
The four player boxes are designed to match the player colors and keep all essential components organized and ready to play right away. Each box features three separate compartments, allowing resources, markers, and additional game materials to stay neatly sorted and easily accessible during gameplay.
A special highlight of the insert for Orloj – The Prague Astronomical Clock is the unique apostle holder of the Orloj. By gently pressing against the underside of the apostle standee, the corresponding figure is slightly lifted from the top, making it especially easy and comfortable to remove.
Additionally, the insert for Orloj – The Prague Astronomical Clock includes two dedicated card trays that make the setup of the Orloj much cleaner and more organized while also securely storing sleeved cards.
A separate assistant tray with a lid allows all assistants to be placed directly onto the table ready to play, without any additional sorting beforehand. The system is completed by a large setup tray that keeps all preparation components for Orloj organized and immediately accessible.
For the resources, the insert includes two separate resource trays, each featuring five compartments for gold, ink, iron, wood, and coins. This allows the trays to be flexibly distributed across both sides of the gaming table for easier access during play.
For solo play, the insert includes a dedicated solo system highlighted in a distinctive silver color scheme. Two card trays and two specially organized storage sections prepare the entire solo setup of Orloj – The Prague Astronomical Clock directly ready for play. Many required tiles are already pre-sorted in their fixed positions, allowing the solo game to be set up especially quickly without lengthy searching or additional sorting before starting.
The unique Magic Box forms the centerpiece of the insert for Orloj – The Prague Astronomical Clock and securely stores many of the previously described components within one large integrated system. The Kalendarium, player boxes, resource trays, and other important elements fit together with precision, ensuring that everything remains safely in place even during vertical storage.
Combined with additional card trays, the assistant holder, and many other carefully organized components, the result is a thoughtfully engineered insert system that keeps the Orloj clearly organized while enabling an especially fast and smooth game setup.
